I'm a USPTA tennis teaching pro who also loves teaching golf. Handicap 6. That means I shoot in the 70s when the putter is working, and the 80s when it's not. I do not shoot in the 60s, I do not shoot in the 90s.

What I can do for you that other pros might not:

I record your swing on video and e-mail it to you. No charge.

I summarize what we talked about on audio clips you can download to your i-pod, i-phone, mp3 player or Dick Tracy Two-Way Wrist Radio. No charge.

We start off at my field. I give you a bucket of balls to keep. No charge.

Thereafter we can use driving ranges if you want. You rent your own bucket of balls.

When you get to a playing level, I invite you to join me for 12 holes of twilight on a Friday or Sat eve. No charge. (Other pros charge $100 for that). I enjoy the company and you need it to get into the game. We use my balls and we don't look for them_main thing is pace of play and golf etiquette, not stroke instruction.
